Conversations

Your conversation history is saved so you can resume or review previous chats. The Conversations page lists all your chats with metadata, and you can filter, search, and continue any conversation.

Conversation List

On the Conversations page (/conversations), you’ll see a grid with:

  • Name – Conversation title (auto-generated from the first message, or “New Chat” if unnamed)
  • Assistant – Which Assistant was used
  • Created By – User who started the conversation
  • Last Updated – When the conversation was last active

Click a row to open the full conversation.

Viewing a Conversation

When you open a conversation:

  • All messages are shown in chronological order
  • User messages and Assistant messages alternate
  • Each message shows who sent it and when
  • Scroll to see the full thread

Continuing a Conversation

  1. Open the conversation from the list
  2. Scroll to the latest messages
  3. Type a new message in the input at the bottom
  4. Press Enter or click Send
  5. The Assistant responds in the same thread

The conversation context is preserved, so the Assistant remembers previous messages.

Tip: If a long thread starts producing less relevant responses, start a fresh conversation and paste in only the key context.

Conversation Title

The title is auto-generated from the first user message. It appears in the header and in the conversation list. It may be editable in some configurations.

Prompt Optimizer

When starting or continuing a conversation, use Optimize Prompt (magic wand icon) to improve your question before sending. The Prompt Optimizer uses AI to make your question clearer and more specific.

Recent Items (Sidebar)

When the feature is enabled, the main layout sidebar may show recent conversations with search. Use it to quickly find and open past chats.

Troubleshooting

  • Conversation list empty – Create a new conversation first; check permissions
  • Can’t open conversation – Refresh the page; check network connectivity
  • Messages out of order – Messages are sorted by timestamp; scroll to verify
