Data Explorer

Data Explorer lets you query your data with natural language. Type a question in plain English, run the query, and view results in tables. Add results to dashboards and create charts. Use AI summaries to understand and refine the data.

What It Is

A query interface where you describe what you want in natural language. The system interprets your question, runs the appropriate query over your data sources, and returns results in a table. You can then add those results to dashboards and create visualizations.

Running Queries

  1. Go to Data Explorer
  2. Type your question in the query input (e.g., “Show me all deals created this month”, “What are our top customers by revenue?”)
  3. Select datasets if the system prompts you
  4. Run the query
  5. Results appear in a table

Tips: Be specific about what you want. Mention time ranges, filters, and desired columns when relevant.

Dashboards

  • Create dashboards and add components (query results, grids, charts)
  • Add grids – Display tabular data
  • Add charts – Visualize data (bar, line, pie, etc.)
  • Edit – Change layout, add/remove components, adjust styling
  • AI – Use AI to refine or generate chart configurations

Charts

  • Charts can be generated automatically from query results
  • Edit chart type, axis labels, colors, and other options
  • AI-assisted editing – Describe changes in natural language
  • Common types: bar, line, pie, scatter, area

AI Summaries

Use AI to summarize or explain query results. Helps interpret large result sets and surface insights.

Troubleshooting

  • No results – Check query phrasing; ensure data exists for the requested scope
  • Wrong data – Refine the question; specify filters or date ranges
  • Chart not updating – Ensure the chart is linked to the correct query or data source
