User Settings
Configure your personal preferences for AI-generated content and email. These settings affect how Assistants and Automations behave when generating content for you—emails, proposals, and other text.
Email Client
Choose Gmail, Outlook, or None. This affects:
- Which email integrations are used
- How Create Email Draft and Send Email actions work
- Email-related options in message export (e.g., “Create Email Draft”)
Set this to match the email system you use so Decoder can create drafts and send emails correctly.
Tone of Voice
Define your writing style. AI uses this when generating emails and other content for you. Describe how you like to write—professional, friendly, concise, formal, etc. The more specific you are, the better the match.
Sample Emails
Add sample emails (paste text or upload files) so AI can learn your style. These examples help the AI match your phrasing, formatting, and tone when composing new emails.
Signature
Set a default email signature for AI-generated emails. The signature is appended to emails created by Assistants or Automations when appropriate.
Editing
Each user can edit only their own User Settings. Changes save when you click Save or Update.
