Extensions
Use Decoder from other tools. Extensions let you interact with Assistants and Automations without leaving your current context—whether you’re on a webpage or in Slack.
Chrome Extension
Send to an Assistant: Select text on a webpage → open extension popup → choose an Assistant → edit your prompt if needed → click Send. Decoder opens a conversation with the selected content included.
Send to an Automation: Select webpage content → choose an Automation → if the content matches expected inputs, run it → review results in Decoder.
Troubleshooting: Ensure you’re logged into Decoder; pin/enable the extension; note that not all automations accept webpage content.
Slack
Slack can route channel messages to an Assistant (via channel mappings) and enable direct message responses through a “DM Assistant.” Setup: connect Slack in Integrations → open Slack Manage settings → enable Slack → map channels → assistants → optionally enable DM responses.
Troubleshooting: Bot not responding → confirm enabled + mappings + assistant validity. Wrong assistant → fix mapping. OAuth issues → reconnect + allow pop-ups.
